The Internet of Things is transforming our physical world into a complex and dynamic systemrnof connected devices on an unprecedented scale.rnAdvances in technology are making possible a more widespread adoption of IoT, from pillshaped micro-cameras that can pinpoint thousands of images within the body, to smartrnsensors that can assess crop conditions on a farm, to the smart home devices that arernbecoming increasingly popular. But what are the building blocks of IoT? And what are thernunderlying technologies that drive the IoT revolution?rnIn this short non-credit course, six Stanford faculty members will deliver an overview ofrnexciting and relevant technical areas essential to professionals in the IoT industry.
